About the Job:
In this role, you will drive the implementation and continuous optimization of BioNTech’s QMS and Veeva eQMS within OneQMS. You will enable compliant, scalable quality processes and support AI-enabled improvements that strengthen operational excellence across all business units.
Your Contribution:
- You will shape and maintain the global QMS/eQMS roadmap, governance model and platform capability plan. Working closely with stakeholders, you will identify dependencies across processes, prioritize enhancements and monitor platform performance, while ensuring continued alignment with regulatory requirements
- You will guide QMS digital transformation initiatives from initial assessment through delivery, including the development of AI use cases. This will involve building business cases, aligning stakeholders and vendors, and leading solution design, validation and deployment, as well as change management and user adoption
- You will chair BPO governance forums, bringing stakeholders together to address cross-process gaps and resolve implementation challenges. You will also ensure that decisions are clearly documented, actions are followed up and solutions are implemented consistently across business units
- You will coordinate the transition from legacy QMS/eQMS systems and their eventual decommissioning. In doing so, you will ensure the compliant transfer of processes, data and documentation, prepare stakeholders for the changes and support the effective closure of legacy systems
A Good Match:
- You hold an advanced degree in life sciences or pharmacy
- You have at least five years of hands-on experience and strong expertise in global quality systems. You are able to translate regulatory expectations into practical, effective approaches within a complex organization
- You demonstrate a strong quality mindset, a clear focus on compliance and a commitment to continuous improvement
- You are a collaborative team player who builds trust and works effectively across functions
- You are structured and outcome-focused, applying Lean principles and project management practices to deliver sustainable results
- You communicate confidently in English and can engage clearly with stakeholders at all levels, additional German is a plus
